Diseases of the Aorta

This course reviews the pathology of aortic diseases and the results of diagnostic testing indicating multiple conditions. Topics include causes and medical history, signs and symptoms, EKGs, palpation, auscultation, echo and cath presentations. Most appropriate for intermediate and advanced echocardiographers and vascular sonographers.

Objective:
To be able to identify diseases of the aorta by reviewing the results of diagnostic procedures to include medical history, signs and symptoms, EKGs, palpation, auscultation, and echo presentations.

A 10 question exam and evaluation form completes the course.
(Grade of 70% is required to receive CME credit )
