Dilated Cardiomyopathies

This course reviews the pathology of dilated cardiomyopathies and the results of diagnostic testing indicating the condition. Topics include causes and medical history, signs and symptoms, EKGs, palpation, auscultation, echo and cath presentations. Most appropriate for intermediate and advanced echocardiographers.

Objective:
To be able to identify dilated cardiomyopathies by reviewing the results of diagnostic procedures to include medical history, signs and symptoms, EKGs, palpation, auscultation, echo and cath presentations. A 10 question exam and evaluation form completes the course.
