Echo 221 - Identifying
Rhythms
This course reviews the steps to interpreting EKGs, and the more common
forms of arrhythmias. Topics include sinus, atrial, junctional, ventricular
rhythms and heart blocks. Most appropriate for experienced cardiac techs,
intermediate and advanced echocardiographers with some previous background.
Objective:
To be able to identify the more common electrocardiographic rhythms, including
sinus, atrial, junctional, ventricular rhythms and heart blocks based
on description, rhythm, rate, P wave configuration, PRI and QRS. A 10
question exam and evaluation form completes the course.
(Grade of 70% is required to receive CME credit)
