  Clinical Evaluation of Valvular Heart Disease

This course reviews the clinical skills needed to evaluate patients with acquired valvular problems. Areas covered are how conducting a medical history and physical exam helps determine how you can alter the echo examination to identify the patient's cardiac condition.

Objective:
To be able to identify various breathing problems, chest pain characteristics, levels of consciousness physical assessment of pulses, auscultation, and murmurs with brief descriptions of echocardiographic and cath data. A 10 question exam and evaluation form completes the course. (Grade of 70% is required to receive CME credit)
