Bangalore, July 6, 2007: Royal Philips Electronics has launched its new Live 3D transesophageal echocardiogram (TEE) probe, the X7-2t. Since 2002, Philips’ Live 3D Echo has been delivering new and additional data to cardiologists to aid in diagnosis and planning. For the first time, Live 3D technology has been transitioned to a TEE probe, enabling cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, anesthesiologists, cardiac interventionalists and echocardiographers to view new depths of data with the X7-2t transesophageal transducer. 3D echo shows promise for assessing aortic stenosis
