Pacific Vascular Institute for Continuing Medical Education (PVICME), formally known as CompVUE, is continuing to expand and strengthen our ultrasound courses. A team of talented people, here at PVICME, work hard at designing courses that meet the needs of the student. Our courses are continuing to grow and we are continuing to add additional offerings. Our new series of cardiac courses have done very well this year. Vascular Ultrasound: For the Strong at Heart, continues to be our most popular course. This course is designed to cross train people in carotid, venous, arterial and renal duplex testing. Our Transcranial Course has been modified to included TCD interpretation and more advanced applications. Our 2 day abdominal vascular course continues to focus on innovative methods of instruction in renal artery testing. Once again, revisions have been done on the curriculum for the physician interpretation class to continue to improve the methods of instruction focusing on case study interpretation. All classes offer continuing education credits (AMA category 1, SVU CME's, or SDMS CME's).
