Patient’s History: An 8 month old infant presented with edema in the extremities and a slight bluish cast to the lower extremities. Parents noted poor feeding habits after 3 months. Femoral pulses were diminished and there is a noted radial-femoral pulse delay. Blood pressure was noted to be 114/74 in brachial artery and 80/58 in femoral artery. Auscultation revealed a continuous murmur heard over the precordium, an accentuated A2, a systolic ejection murmur that radiated to the upper right sternal border, and a systolic thrill in the suprasternal notch.
